Empty oil iron barrels, paint, wood.
Hell was a work first presented in a group exhibition in Hjalteyri: Kvörn. The work consists of four empty oil barrels, in which the word “Hell” has been carved out. The barrels have also been painted at the top and filled with wood. During the exhibition a fire was lit, transforming the barrels’ colour. Photographs of the work were featured in the art magazine Platonique. Another version of the artwork was later installed at the group exhibition Koddu in 2011.
